Colored Cd Jewel Cases - Protecting Your Video Cd Collection Like Precious Gems

If there's one hobby that I will never let go

, that is watching my daughters' videos repeatedly. My husband has captured my daughter's growing up years from the time they were just born till this time if they are already four and six. He had also saved each of these videos in CDs. Imagine how many CDs I already have? Actually I already have hundreds. And how do you manage these hundreds of personal DVDs? I just use my favorite colored CD jewel cases.

If you have your video, you have the freedom to choose the means of storing them, like in a collection. As for me, I burn the videos on a CD and then put them inside a colored CD jewel case. Colored cd jewel cases help me a lot in organizing these hundreds of videos which i've already collected and burned. They serve as my codes for my videos. For example, videos of my elder daughter go to red colored cd jewel cases while videos of my younger daughter go to purple colored cd jewel cases.

I also collect videos of family gatherings. Instead of putting them in a CD folder, I collect them in such a way that it looks like I've got a library full of memories. For family gatherings, I use gold colored CD jewel cases. And then I label them per dates and per family occasion. In terms of my collection, I am pretty strict with my labels so that I don't waste my time pulling out a video that I like to watch and then find out that it's the wrong video when I insert it on the player.

Of course, we have our own couple videos where he captured the places where us went to. Our videos not only include those taken from the handycam but from our cellular phones too. Sometimes the most precious videos came from those times when we were really not expecting it such as seeing someone we haven't seen for years, or maybe a nice, clear night sky teeming with stars.

Some people collect and store their videos inside their computers, some do it online, but me, I prefer to store them on CDs and wear them my colored cd jewel cases. My cabinet full of precious videos is already half-full and if ever I will be able to load it up quickly, I will be willing to purchase another cabinet to store new videos. Whenever I take a peek at my cabinet, I feel this inner happiness seeing these colorful cd jewel cases like true jewels, precious jewels of memories of my daughters, husband and family.
