Comfort Isn't Aways Expensive

Flying today isn't like those depictions of Pan Am in the 1940's

. The time when "stewardesses" treated each and every passenger as though they were royalty has passed. Luxury is no longer the common thread of commercial aviation but rather is the exception to the rule. In a world of high fares and flight attendants whose sole responsibility is safety, comfort is often compromised. Passengers are receiving less for their dollar and most airlines are now charging for even pillows and blankets. Let's face it; no jet is comfortable with the number of seats crammed onboard. With the fast pace of today's world, most flying passengers are business passengers who are jetting from one meeting to the next and usually sleep onboard flights. Of the many passengers sleeping on flights, most have their own airplane pillow.

The airplane pillow is the perfect accessory that will fit in almost any carry-on bag. They can be purchased at many travel stores and even in airport gift shops. Moments after takeoff you are permitted to recline your seat. If you are going to get some rest, there's no better way than to slip the moon shaped pillow around your neck and let the pilots do all of the work for you. If you simply stretch back and sleep without the travel pillow, you're likely to wake up less than refreshed and with a horrible pain in your neck. It may be impossible to sit through a business meeting or enjoy the first day of your vacation with a horrible, dull pain. Just be sure that you sleep lightly. You don't want to miss the beverage service or snore as both are very inconvenient.

Airplane pillows aren't only used on flights; they're great for long distance car rides too. In fact, they'll work in just about any situation. Many people who sit in slightly reclined chairs or beds and work on computers use them to reduce the strain placed on the neck. That strain can often cause a headache that no pain reliever is capable of relieving. Since they typically cost around fifteen dollars, it's certainly cheaper and more convenient than regular trips to the chiropractor.

They are often made of microfiber material fitted around small form fitting beads. This allows the perfect contour to form, providing stability in the alignment of the neck. They are reusable and can often be washed if they should become dirty. Travel isn't a requirement for their purchase and use. Rather they are just suggested for travel because of their convenience. They are obviously worth their cost.
