Commercial Wastewater treatment in Food Processing

Food processing wastewater from processing and cleanup procedures in food processing plants can be effectively treated using Electro Precipitation procedures. With food processing wastewater, the goals include reducing bacteria levels, suspended solids, phosphates, oil, and grease levels. Electro Precipitation can be customized to address specific contaminants. Depending on the specific settings used, bacteria levels can be reduced by 97 to 99%. Solids can be reduced by 99%, and biochemical oxygen demand can be cut by over 85%. Phosphorus levels can be reduced by over 99% and more than 76% of oil and grease can be removed from food processing wastewater.

Making Drinking Water Safer

Contaminants like fluoride and uranium can be removed from drinking water by customized Electro Precipitation treatment. Once customized to the particulars of the samples and desired results, Electro Precipitation followed by filtration has been able to reduce uranium levels by over 90% and fluoride levels by 89.5%. After the procedure, contaminants simply settle out of solution, leaving cleaner, usable water. Contaminants such as iron, magnesium, and zinc can also be successfully removed from drinking water using this technique.
