Then, it turns, making it easy to get into. Finally, it turns back, moves forward, and locks into place.

A van equipped with these features can be very liberating for a person who uses a wheelchair. Without something like this, when they need to run an errand, for example, they are dependent on someone to take them where they need to go. With these common features of handicap vans in place, people who use wheelchairs are able to go where they need to whenever they want, without having to depend on anyone other than themselves.
