Common Poker Mistakes - How To Never Make River Odds Mistakes Again

Making the wrong decisions before the river is one of the biggest and most common poker mistakes players make every day

. It's all because the mathematics and probability of poker are all too hard. Even I can't do most of the calculations, even with a calculator!

So what if I were to reveal a little secret that made figuring out your odds of making your best hand on the river so simple, and so easy, that even a 7 year old could do it? How much would you pay me for this. Maybe a few dollars? Probably $10 because you now realize how much money this secret will save you.

Well, because I'm such a nice guy (blush) I'm going to give it to your right now, for free! Yay, free!

This is because I don't want anyone making any of the common poker mistakes because they are so avoidable it isn't even funny. And if you avoid making mistakes and just play a solid game well guess what... you start to win!

Always Avoid The Most Common Poker Mistakes - River Odds In A Snap

Now, you may be a little surprised at how simple this tip is, but that in no way means that it isn't powerful. It truly is so useful you will use it every single day from now on after you read it.

When you are on the turn - so you have a hand, got the flop, then the turn came with only the river to come - you can use a special process to calculate your chance of getting you best hand and probably winning.

Our example; you get dealt 9-8 unsuited. The flop comes K-9-4 rainbow. So you have a pair of 9's. You have 5 outs (the 2 nines or the 3 eights in the deck)

So the example above, say a 2 comes on the turn. Not a card we want.

You still have 5 outs (all the cards mentioned before).

So take this number.

And multiply it by 2.

So 5 x 2 is.. correct, 10.

So you have a 10% chance of making your best hand (either a two pair or a trips).

You can do this with any cards, with any outs. The percentages are actually out just a tiny tiny bit (the real second percentage was 11.4%) but it is close enough for what you want to be doing. Plus the absolute simplicity and easiness, plus how quick it is to do more than makes up for it, doesn't it?

Now I don't want you to think about how useful this is to you, nor thinking about how great and helpful this tip was. Instead, I want you to please realize there are so many more of these little tips and tricks in poker. All you have to do is find them and then they are yours and you can use them forever. So please, I urge you to continue to go and find more common poker mistakes.
