But secondly, it is very dangerous to let sinus problems go untreated. If you do not treat your intermittent sinus problems, they will probably lead to chronic sinusitis, as problem builds upon problem. Chronic sinusitis can last for weeks and weeks, and it is most likely to recur year after year when it is not treated.
