Sometimes it becomes very difficult for the business organizations to achieve its

goals.There may be many reasons behind this and lack of communication is also among them. The importance of effective communication cannot be ignored. Its very difficult to achieve even simplest things without an effective communication and a communication barrier can reverse the process.

On the other hand, some people show disagreement with them. In this way conflicts arises and communication barrier also increases. This thinking stops people to do an important task collectively.

Language problem is also proving as a communication barrier. Sometimes when you choose some words to describe your message an the other person is unable to understand them or he didnt like those words or signals as words can be interpreted in more than one way.

Barriers can also exist between people from different backgrounds. To overcome from all these kind of language barriers use most appropriate and specific kind of words which are most accurate for the situation.

Always choose those words which can be easily understood by your audience so that they can relate with them. Increase the accuracy of your messages by presenting observable facts, events or circumstances.

Poor listening is another factor that createshindrance among communication. Its simply lack of attention on the receivers part. We let our minds wander here and there regardless of concentrating on the present situation.

People like to drift off from the situation. There are very few people who pay attention when someonespeaks or any importanttask occurs. To overcome from these barriers, paraphrase what you haveunderstood. View the situation from others point of view. Clarify their meanings by asking non-threatening questions and listen them without interrupting.

Different emotional states are also responsible. Every message contains a content meaning and relationship meaning. That suggests the nature of interaction between sender and receiver. To overcome from emotional barriers, stay away from getting emotional and be alert to the greater potential for misunderstandings.

Different backgrounds can be considered as the biggest and hardest communication barriers to overcome.

Communication is a back of success for any organization and if it is not running in a proper way and possessing various problems then communication barrier can prove to be biggest problem in moving ahead.
