These two exceptional products have been making good progress in the market. The first device, to be launched in the market was Micromax Q2 which was followed by Micromax Q1, quite opposite in numbering though. Often confusion arises between the hand sets to be absolutely same in features. Though the fact cannot be denied that the sibling models bear a lot of similaritis but a deep analysis is needed to know the two products in a better way. Form Factor: both Micromax Q1 and Q2 are available in a bar style. At a first look the biggest difference you can see in the two hand sets is the colour and the arrangement of a few keys on the top of the QWERTY keypad. Q1 comes with a beautiful red colour which is really attractive in looks. Two call controlling keys are placed in a real typical manner, you will find the hand set full of life. On the other hand, Micromax Q2 depicts luxury. The styling of the hand set is taken well care of with wonderfully carved body. It comes in all black colour. 1. Weight: both the hand set measures 97g, good enough to keep the cell phones handy. 2. Dimensions: Micromax Q1 and Q2 measures 111.2 x 61.2 x 13mm. Though the dimensions are same but still you can find prominent differences in the looks of the hand set. 3. Display: again both the hand sets are blessed with a 262K Color TFT screen with an effective resolution of 220 X 176 Pixels. The size of the display is 5.58cm in both the devices. A 5-way navigation key is present on both of them along with a Full QWERTY keypad. A promising performance of the display is all you can get from these hand sets. 4. Music: Q1 and Q2 music capabilities are meant to support multi formats like MP3, AMR , MIDI and WAV. Good quality music is always a part of Micromax offerings. And the same applies in both these hand sets as well. 5. Bluetooth: both the hand sets do not support bluetooth connectivity. 6. Camera: Micromax Q1does not have a camera while Q2 bears 1.3 MP camera. This is probably the biggest difference between the two. 7.Stereo FM Radio: both the devices have the option of Radio FM in them to keep its users entertained. 8. Messaging: with Micromax Q1 and Q2 you can have facilities like Chatting and SMS and MMS as well. 9. Games: both the hand sets comes loaded with games and thus increases the entertainment quotient. 10. Phonebook Memory: adding more to similarities, both Q1 and Q2 comes with a total memory capacity of 500 contacts. 11. SMS Memory: another major difference between these models is that Q1 supports 300 messages memory and Q2 supports 400. 12. Expandable Memory: another difference between Q1 and Q2 is that the former supports expendable memory up to 4 GB and latter up to 8 GB. 13. Talk Time: Q1 gives a talk time of 3 hours maximum and Q2 gives a total of 4 hrs talk time. 14. Standby Time: Q1 gives a standby time if 120 hrs and Q2 gives 160. Price: Micromax Q1 is priced at Rs. 1,800 and micromax Q2 at Rs. 2,170
