Compelling Motives To Sendoutcards Often
Take time to think: SendOutCards which please the recipient
. In a world where everyone expects their message to reach the ends of the earth in an instant, the idea of slowing down for a moment may appear counter-productive. And yet, there is something just a little bit 'special' about receiving a genuine, solid, three-dimensional envelope: ideally addressed by hand, and containing an actual, hand-written missive.
Cards which we send commemorate all sorts of occasions ranging literally from the cradle to the grave. The size of any given card may vary, but the basic construction is almost always along the lines of a single piece of thin card, folded once. This makes it possible to stand the card on one edge and offers up to four surfaces for pictures and appropriate greetings.
Creating a personal message can be likened to holding a private conversation with them on a one to one basis and will almost always give the donor as much satisfaction and warm feelings as the person receiving a card which bears the hallmarks of being designed solely with them in mind.
Modern technology and software which is designed to be customer friendly has made it possible for anyone with a PC to design, create and print personalised cards. A number of companies have also seen a niche market opportunity and developed a quick turn around service for customers who lack the equipment (or possibly the confidence) to create a bespoke card themselves.
By paying scrupulous attention to such minute details, one can create a gamut of wonderful, warm fuzzy feelings which are bound to impress as much as a bespoke tailored clothing rather than mass produced off the peg products similar to the 'demob suits' which were the only civilian wear in retail outlets for members of the armed forces in the immediate post war years when clothes were still subject to ration books and coupons.
So, can we find a secret formula which will allow us to formulate the perfect greetings card, guaranteed to find instant favour in every person who receives one? First and foremost we need to look at some of the details of a card.
Three of the four pages of a typical greetings card will display a mixture of text and art work. The final page is often left blank, but may have an ISBN bar printed on it, or discreet details of the publishing house in a minute, unobtrusive font.
The purpose which the card is intended to serve decides the type of artwork or ornament used in the care, especially on the front cover and any verse which might be recorded on the inner pages. Where a child will enjoy humor (even somewhat coarse humor) in a birthday card, such scenes and wording would never be acceptable in a card expressing sorrow at the death of a member of the family.
An abbreviated message comprising the least possible number of words is usually printed on Page 1. A lengthier, generally more extravagant variation on the theme may follow on one or more of the inner pages. Prose is the usual format, although rhyming verse is also used with great success in situations which allow for the enlightening, uplifting power of poetry.
The philosophy behind the idea of SendOutCards which are by definition always going to be 'one off' creations aimed at pleasing one specific person is simple and sincere. By investing a small amount of my time and imagination to design and print a card for a special person, I am in reality demonstrating that my profession of love is not just empty words.
