The United States is vying to soften the expansion of China in Africa. Fred Hochberg, chairperson of the United States Export-Import Bank recently visited South Africa to identify infrastructure projects. These projects would be beneficial to the US investments. The department of Commerce in United States released it latest figures, which showed that $66, 3 billion worth goods were imported from Africa to US and around 92.3 percent of the petroleum products were imported. Three former executives of the Japanese airline were granted jury by the US federal recently. These executives were filed in the U.S court for fixing the charges for air cargo shipments for the United States. Takao Fukuchi, former president of Japanese Airlines, Naoshige Makino and Yoshio Kunugi the former senior executives of Nippon Cargo Airlines played a vital role for fixing the cargo shipment rates. If they are found guilty each will face one decade behind bars and nearly one million dollars will be fined. The fine amount is fixed depending on the losses incurred by the victims or it will be twofold of the gain received by them.
