The government will then enforce a three year ban on the player from online gambling and brick and mortar gambling. The ban once enforce cannot be lifted until the end of three years. Though the idea behind this banning legislation is for the betterment of and safety of French gamblers but the question is, hasn't it occurred to the people who created this legislation that addiction is a condition where people are unaware and not in control of their behavior?

New Jersey

Since then NJ Governor Christie has been taking a good hard look at the benefits of legalizing online gambling. Senator Ray Lesniak has been the driving force behind this expansion in New Jersey by introducing legislation that would help their failing racetracks and Atlantic City. On Monday state lawmakers & the Senate Budget Committee approved this legislation making it possible now to move the bill into state legislation. These proposed gambling rooms would be allowed only to promote their services to residents inside the state borders, which would keep the Federal government at bay. The states horse racing industry has taken a hard hit in the past couple of years even with the $30 million they receive from subsidies from Atlantic City casinos.
