The vital signs need to be monitored on a regular basis. Infection is common after an abortion and making sure that the temperature is normal and that there is no excessive bleeding is important.
Bowel and bladder injuries are not noticed easily. It can be identified when there is excessive bleeding and rectal tenderness.
Keep a track on how you are bleeding, as excessive bleeding is also not a good sign and can denote an underlying complication.
Make sure that any discomfort that lasts longer than a day is worth worrying, so you should make sure that you immediately have medical help from your health service provider.
