Netbook is tiny laptop with no a number of thinks that come with regular laptop such as cdrom. Ipad is preaty much big touch phone without the calling option. Both can do web browsing but whats better? Well lets look into pros and cons of each.
First lets look into typing. Ipad has a touchscreen keyboard (virtual) while netbook has an keyboard with buttons. Some people complain that netbook keyboards are cramped but some of them are preaty good. Personaly I prefer regular keyboard over touchscreen one. So for me when it comes to typing netbook wins. Also keep in mind that touchscreen keyboard takes away screen room that you could use for actuali seeing what you write.

Ipads comes with all the aplications you would need for buying videos, music and ebooks. Buying extra games is very simple and can be done at the touch of button. Reading ebooks is also very good specialy in bed. I could see ipad replacing several of the books you might have. Now a days you can buy an ebook instead of a hardbook. Sure reading an ebook does not give you the same experience as reading and holding a real one but space saving espect is well worth it. Plus I really like that we don't have to cut any trees to make ebooks since no paper is needed.
Overall it's a hard to pick between the ipad and netbook as they both have their pros and cons. If you write a lot of emails I would go with netbooks as typing seems quicker and more efficient on it.Flash support is also a very big positive of the netbooks. If your feavorite site is using flash than don't buy ipad as it will not work on it. If you just need something to read online news than go with ipad and you will not be disapointed.
