The American Rock Band Kings of Leon will perform at The O2 on Saturday the 11th of December 2010.

Kings of Leon debuted with the album Youth and Young Manhood in 2003 in the UK and the US and became quite popular in Ireland and the UK. After the release of the album Kings of Leon toured with popular rock band U2 and The Strokes. The second album was released in 2004 named Aha Shake Heartbreak.

The phenomenal Kings of Leon was previously involved in Southern Rock and Blues, but changed course to more appealing alternative rock sound. The third album released by Kings of Leon, Because of the Times' reached the top spot in UK. On Call' became a runaway hit in Ireland and Britain. In Europe it sold more than 70,000 copies at the first week. After this they were considered as one of the greatest bands of America.

Success bestowed upon them with the album Only By the Night' in September 2008 which recorded platinum in United States as it reached to position 5 on the Billboard. It was the best seller in Australia with record 9 times platinum. The tracks Sex on Fire, Use Somebody, Notion were the hot favorites in the US. The latest album of Kings of Leon Come Around Sundown' was released in the year 2010.
