Moving to Atlanta from somewhere like the luxury apartments in Jersey City

, could seem like a pretty daunting prospect, but I can assure you that it can be the best move you have ever made!

I was so upset when my husband came home with the thrilling news that he had been promoted well, at first I was as thrilled as he was. However, when he told me he was being promoted to take charge of the companys Atlanta office I just went into a total panic!

New Jersey apartment

I grew up in a nice New Jersey apartment and was planning to bring up a family in the same place that I knew so well. I was already daydreaming about taking my as yet unborn kids to the beach and all the places I used to love during my happy childhood. I had all my friends and family around me and was very comfortable in one of the luxury apartments in Jersey City.

However, when I started to find out more about the condos in Atlanta, Georgia I realized that it was possible to live in the same part-country, part-town districts as those around my New Jersey apartment. This is important for me because I have asthma, but actually it turned out that the level of air pollution around the condos in Atlanta, Georgia is significantly lower than in the streets around the condos for sale in NYC!

Less polluted

Apparently, this is because of the higher than average use of public transportation by city workers in Atlanta. And that meant that my children, when they came along, would be growing up in a far less polluted atmosphere. Thats when I started to see that moving away from my hometown to somewhere completely different could turn out to be a positive thing.

So, I stopped crying and agreed to go along with my husband to spend a few days in Atlanta, just as a little vacation and a chance to walk around and get the feel of the place.

Sophisticated

During my first visit to this attractive and modern city I started to get really excited at the idea of having a sort of fresh start in my adult married life. Perhaps it was time for me to leave the girl from New Jersey behind.

I realized that Atlanta has a high proportion of young professionals which has created a sophisticated and varied nightlife.

Sports centers

During the day, we went to look at a couple of the many sports centers. As I looked around at the groups of women enjoying an after-exercise drink and chat in the cafs, I could see some good opportunities to make new friends here.

So, now were living in a super Apex condominium and although I miss my parents, I really believe this move has opened up our horizons. I have emerged from my cocoon to explore the world beyond a New Jersey apartment. There is life beyond the luxury apartments in Jersey City!

And the condos in Atlanta, Georgia have the best in-house services weve even got a salt-water pool!
