However, even if someone gets a hold of the download link, they will still run into one obstacle. There is usually an unlocking code required in order to access the message. This unlocking code will be provided by the sender. Without it, the recipient cannot download the message.

This type of system assures people that their important documents such as business plans, resumes and etc. will not be downloaded or read by anyone other than the recipient.
