While dial-up connections offer a speed of just 56kbs-kilobytes per second, broadband satellites multiply the speed taking it normally up to 256kbs. And now as technology is improving further, speed plays an important role. Thus the maximum rate of data transfer has reached 4MBps-megabytes per second!
