It is essential that food service workers ensure clean materials and surrounding in preparing food. Sanitation checks are conducted by health departments in food establishments to ensure consumer safety.

The participants of the Servsafe Food Safety Certification training do not only sit and listen to the discussions. After all the discussions, exams are taken by participants. The exam purpose is to assess if Food service workers learned from the training program. Once the participants pass the exam, he/she is issued the certificate.
