Contesting the Biblical premise that God is a ‘jealous' God!

Contesting the Biblical premise that God is a jealous' God!
The first Commandment in the Torah informs us of a premise that can be contested and falsified. This first commandment is the parent of all scriptures and the foremost divine prescription for humans. In Exodus 20: 1 to 5 we read:
Then God instructed the people as follows:
I am the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery in Egypt. Do not worship any other gods besides me.
Do not make idols of any kind, whether in the shape of birds or animals or fish. You must never worship or bow down to them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not share your affection with any other god!'
The copula of this commandment is to worship God, who is one and only. It prescribes to humans that they should not, and never, bow down to anything else except God.
The reason for forbidding humans to worship other than God, in this biblical command is that God is jealous'. Jealousy here defines and identifies God in such term. The object of jealousy is other things than God. The subject of jealousy is man.
According to one interpretation of jealousy: It is a secondary emotion and typically refers to the negative thoughts and feelings of insecurity, fear, and anxiety over an anticipated loss of something that the person values, particularly in reference to a human connection.'
If we accept this definition then the Torah is ascribing to God feelings of insecurity', fear' and anxiety for loss'. This feeling, in accordance to this definition, is confined to humans. It is reference to human reaction due to insecurity, fear and anxiety.
How would anyone, human, in his proper sense ascribe human feelings to God while God is the creator of man and He is the one who provided man with feelings, fear, anxiety and insecurity?
Can we possibly consider God to feel insecure? Or have fear? Or even be anxious?
God is the creator of man and all these feelings. These feelings belong to humans and not to God!
How can God, being perfect as He is, being All Mighty and All powerful as He is, being all wise as He is, being the creator of the universe, and His creatures as we all are, be jealous of us?
If this is the case then He would have never allowed humans to prostrate unto idols and other things than Him. He would have eradicated idolatry from the nature of the human constitution.
Can the word jealousy be applied to God? Can we define God in terms of jealousy' so particular to humans and those who do not have self-confidence and have no respect for themselves?
Can the Bible. The Old Testament, the Torah, the Law, and second Holy Scripture prescribed in the divine Tablets be wrong in such descriptive identification and such false definition, ascribed to the All Mighty?
