Control Your Negative Emotions
Not only that, but negative emotions also stop you from communicating properly with others.
Have you ever seen teenagers caught up in the throes of puberty? They are unhappy, withhold their thoughts from you, and seem withdrawn and insecure. At least teens have hormone imbalances to blame. Whats your excuse as an adult?
You have none, really. You are just as capable of success as I am or anyone else. In your past, you have likely been distracted, hesitant, and paralyzed in your fear of failure. Use me as a positive influence in your life. I learned not to be afraid; I learned to take risks and experiment like a scientist and it worked! I encourage you to do the same.
Now, as a human being, you naturally have negative emotions. I do, too everyone does. But you can learn to identify these negative emotions, control them, and recreate them as positive opportunities, just as I do every day.
There are two things you should think about now. The first thing is that your positive emotions are vital to your happiness. The second thing is that you have control over the negative energy you experience. Much in the same way that you can do things to make yourself feel good, you also have the power to dispel difficult feelings such as fear, sadness, anxiety or hopelessness, and convert them into something positive.
Energy is really fairly neutral until you personalize it and make it positive or negative. It all depends on how much information you are given, how much you seek, and how you process that information. If you approach your emotions without a strategy, they control you.
If you approach your emotions as a scientist and try to understand where they are coming from and what you can do to improve them, you can control your emotions and put a positive spin on any situation.
