Conversational Hypnosis--why Covert Persuasion Is Bigger Than Language

You've almost certainly heard of conversational hypnosis and how someone can be taught

Ericksonian hypnotic language patterns and adapt them for the objective of mastering the art of covert persuasion. Up until a few years ago, conversational hypnosis was one of the most contemporary trends within the covert persuasion community.

But does conversational hypnosis really work? Although conversational hypnosis does have some attention-grabbing topics in its teachings, we need to go beyond our topics of interest and continue to focus upon the question as to whether or not conversational hypnosis really works. To answer this question, we should for a moment consider the male seduction community, because the idea of using hypnotic language patterns to influence people is by no means as new as some covert hypnosis students have been led to believe.

The male seduction community initially started its attempts to seduce women through the use of language patterns that were developed upon the exact same dynamics as conversational hypnosis is made upon. This means that conversational hypnosis already existed in the form of nlp before it took on its new name. And men failed in their attempts to seduce woman through hypnotic language. This is exactly why the male seduction community quickly moved away from hypnotic language patterns unto different covert persuasion techniques that actually worked.

In fact, you seldom even hear any dating coaches teaching covert hypnosis techniques that consist of hypnosis language patterns anymore, because they just don't do any good and are too difficult to learn and employ in real life scenarios. This means language patterns may look good on paper but in real life situations conversational hypnosis will not profit you. You simply cannot take the conversational hypnosis methods that were in the beginning invented for the use of therapy and apply them to the art of covert persuasion.

Covert persuasion is, and has always been, on an entirely different level than conversational hypnosis, because covert persuasion was invented in order to equip you to be able to persuade people outside of clinical settings. There is a big difference in using conversational hypnosis in an office to help someone quit smoking from attempting to use conversational hypnosis to covertly persuade someone without them knowing what you are doing.

Conversational hypnosis is based upon the use of words, and yet everyone had experienced the fact that before that talk is cheap. Words can be resisted, words can confuse people, or people can simply chose not to agree with them. Social strategy, in contrast, cannot be resisted because the brain does not have the ability to process exactly what is happening and there is no actual message to reject. Non verbal suggestions consist of power, and everybody knows that those who increase in power also rise their social status. This means that the disguised forms of hypnosis must be used to fully master the art of covert persuasion.
