Ice Skating Party Invitations

Create fun ice skating party invitations by combining common symbols of ice skating with signs of summer. For example, place an image of ice skates on a beach setting (use clip art images of each). This can be done by combining the images using a photo editing program. Place sunglasses on the ice skates. Use pom poms on the ice skates for a 3D effect as well. Employ invitation headings such as Summer Ice Skating Queen (or King), Summer Ice Skate Party, etc.

Ice Skating Party Supplies & Decorations

Decorate the party with cool color party supplies and decorations such as blues, greens, and purples avoiding bright reds and pinks (we want guests to feel cool). Decorate the party area with balloons, streamers, tableware items, and frosted glasses. Decorate a multi-tiered serving tray with pom poms and scarves with other winter accessories on and around the party table and area. To make a simple banner, use several scarves and knot together the ends. Hand the scarves in the corners of the party area. Place fake snow around the party area as well to create a winter-like atmosphere. This is an ice skating theme party so place ice skates on the party table - either on the corners of the party table or as the focal point in the center of the table. Attach balloons and curling ribbon to the ice skates to make a simple ice skating party centerpiece.

Post images of popular ice skaters on the walls. To create a simple ice skating banner, use ice skater silhouettes attached together with ribbon. Cut out ice skater silhouettes from paper. Punch holes in the silhouettes and tie ribbon through each of the holes and tie together.
