The cops and robbers drinking game is a great way to enjoy hanging out with friends in the bar or at a party

As long as you have a pack of cards, six people or more and drinks there is no reason why you should enjoy the drinking sessions.

To play the cops and robbers drinking game you have to have six or more players seated facing each other, preferably on a table. The dealer is to take out cards equal to the number of the people who will be playing. One of the cards has to be as ace and another has to be a king. The rest of the cards dealt can be of any combinations of numbers that the dealer decides on. One tip is to choose the higher number card as it will increases the chances of the players getting drunk quickly, which is explained below.

The dealer will then distribute the cards randomly to each player in the circle, such that each player has a single card. The player who gets the king will be the cop and the one who receives the ace is the robber hence the title of this drinking game. The cops and robbers drinking game requires that all the players be alert at this point because the robber will wink at someone at random. The person who the robber winks at will declare "the deal has been made". The game cannot continue until this declaration has been made.

After the declaration has been made, the cop, who is holding the king card, is supposed place his card face up on the table then look at everyone around him and try to guess who the robber is among them. If the person he chooses is not the robber, the cop has to drink the number of drinks similar to the number on the card which the person he guessed has turned over. This cops and robbers drinking game continues in this manner until the cop gets who the "real" robber is, that is, the one holding the ace card.

If the robber happens to wink at the cop at any time during the cops and robbers drinking game, he is automatically busted and the cop therefore has to choose another player. This other player will flip their card and the robber will be required to drink according to the number on the card that this player flips as punishment for winking at the cop. This game is fun especially watching the cop drink that many drinks for all the wrong guesses that he makes.
