Attending different colleges, students want to be occupied with some extracurricular activities

. Some students are pleased with dancing, singing, sports, athletics, drama or debating classes. Attending those they feel delighted and happy. But, there are students who want to be useful to the society, who want to contribute to the social work and be in the center of the student life. Being involved into different students communities while studying, such students feel spiritual bankruptcy. They have a lot of energy but do not know where to direct it. Alumni association is exactly what such students need. Cornell Black Alumni Association

This association was founded in 1976. The primary purpose of the association was to provide communication among black former students of the University. Now, the purposes have increased and deepened. One of the main goals of the Cornell Black Alumni Association is the professional promotion of black students. Moreover, this association gives former students an opportunity to give back to the Cornell community. Such give back is rather important for the association as it helps its members organize their work and provide some financial support to students who need it. However, the collaboration between former students and University community also remains one of the goals of the community. Students can always come to the organization office, see students, talk to them, get to know some information and other news, if they are interested in it.

How can one become a member of Cornell Black Alumni Association?

Each black former student can become the member of this organization. Furthermore, there is much work which is done by volunteers who want to donate to the student community.
