On the subject of blogs, it is increasingly evident that bloggers are becoming a force to reckon with.

And that has meant our international clients have blogs on which they want to post video clips of events and other occasions, messages, happenings and so on. This poses additional challenges for us on the technology front.

At the recently concluded Dubai Motor Show that was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, a very large American car manufacturer whose participation and related events we covered, wanted it both ways. They wanted the video footage edited and delivered on DVDs as well as they wanted raw footage to be uplinked daily so that their teams in the US could include it in their daily blog on their coporate website.

Having handled such requests before we knew what the challenges were, mainly frustratingly slow internet speeds.
