Corrupt Access Database Objects Cause Unexpected Errors

Microsoft Access is a database manage system application

, developed by Microsoft Corporation. It is a module in Microsoft Office suite of products. It uses two types of database to store your significant data in the form of tables - MDB (Master Database File for Microsoft Access 2003 and earlier versions) and AccDB (Access Database for Microsoft Office Access 2007). Both these databases are made up of various objects, which are required for proper functioning of the database. However, if any of the database objects is either damaged or missing, database may become unusable and you face data loss situations. To overcome such critical situations, you need to mdb recovery using appropriate solutions.

Both types of Microsoft Access databases (MDB and AccDB) include various objects, such as tables, reports, forms, macros, triggers, stored procedures, VBA code, constraints, and more. All these database objects are generally centered on a database table and used with it. When one or more of the Access database objects get damaged, the database can not be accessed. In such situations, you may come across an error message similar to the following one, when you try to open the database and access data from it:

Unexpected error 35012

This error message prevents the Access database from opening and it becomes unusable. In order to extract data from the affected database, you need to find out its cause and perform Access database recovery by fixing it.

Root of the problem:

You may come across this behavior of Microsoft Access if one or more of the database objects are corrupt or damaged. The corruption can be caused by numerous reasons, such as virus infection, unexpected system shutdown, application malfunction, and more.

Resolution

Go through the below steps to solve the problem:

Create new Access database.

Select Get External Data option from File menu and chose Import.

Exclude the object, which is causing errors, and import all other objects to new database.

If the above method fails to perform MDB recovery, it becomes essential to repair and restore the damaged database using third-party applications. The Access recovery software employs advanced database scanning techniques to extract all of its corrupted or damaged objects. They insure easy recovery with interactive graphical user interface and thus do not demand sound technical skills.
