When implementing a new courier program into a courier business

Unless you're upgrading your hardware as well, this is where the greatest potential for disaster lies if you find that something is not working properly after the program instillation. If you can run the program smoothly on your system though, you're set for further preparation so you're ready to buy the program.
The next step is also critical in avoiding problems when you put the new software program into play. You have to make sure that all of your employees are very well trained on the new program before they actually start using it in the field. Otherwise, they are inevitably going to be both slow on the new software, and are going to make mistakes. And in the courier industry, a mistake, even a little one, can quickly cause a great deal of customer dissatisfaction.
In addition to training your employees you also need to, in a way, train your customers. Most customers use at least some features of the courier software that your company uses in their day to day interactions with your company. This might include things like the way that they place orders online, or their ability to track their shipments. If anything in the new software is going to change the way they complete those actions, you need to make sure that they know about it in advance, and that they understand how the new system is going to work so they experience a seamless transition.
If you take all these steps, you should be able to avoid most of the major problems that come when implementing a new software program. If you can pull that off, you'll experience great success, because you will improve your own office's productivity, and improve customer functionality without any dissatisfaction.
