Crack The Gmat With The Best Guidance
What is GMAT?
What is GMAT?
The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a standardized, computer adaptive test that is used to measure the aptitude of applicants for management studies that finally leads them to B-Schools across the world for management studies. We are all aware of the fact that the GMAT is a tough nut to crack. Thus, it is imperative that the applicants equip themselves with sufficient skills enabling them to compete with thousands of candidates from all over the world who share their ambition to make it to the top B-schools for a quality program in management course. This is possible only with the right kind of guidance and thorough practice.
The Problem with Verbal and Quantitative
GMAT includes two components: Verbal and Quantitative. The verbal component of the GMAT can be particularly tricky and can give you the nerves for sure. Therefore, you need to get on perfectly well with the
GMAT verbal section, especially sentence correction and critical reasoning questions. Unfortunately, there are very few sources that provide sound guidance to help you develop the skills to approach verbal questions with utmost accuracy.
What are the available sources?
With the development of the technology and the increased ease of access through internet, the web does offer help as far as GMAT is concerned. There are a few websites that offer you various practice questions that help you to work on the problem areas as much as you want. On the internet, you can find exercises on Analytical Writing Assessment; the quantitative section including Problem Solving; data sufficiency; the Verbal Section including Sentence Correction (SC), Critical Reasoning (CR), and Reading Comprehension. These exercises let you practice and measure your score and also apprise you of your improvement areas so you can work on them accordingly. However, these sources fail to address the specific problem areas and lack the personal approach.
A course specifically designed for non-native speakers can help to have a good grip on the concepts required in GMAT. And if the course is designed by the non-native speakers itself, then it will be a feather in the cap, as they will be having a perfect understanding of the specific needs of the students.
