Craig Ferguson Tickets - Baby On Board For Craig Ferguson's Wife
Craig Ferguson is a one-of-a-kind comedian and television host
, and those who end up the butt of his jokes are likely glad there is only one Craig Ferguson. Well, he has now revealed that there may be someone to fill his shoes years down the road: his child. Ferguson took to his Twitter account and wrote: "Holy crackers! Mrs F is pregnant. How did that happen? ...oh yeah I know how. Another Ferguson arrives in 2011. The world trembles." Ferguson is married to Megan Wallace Cunningham, and the child will be the first for the couple. Ferguson does have another child, a son named Milo, from a previous relationship.
Ferguson has a lot to keep him busy before the baby's arrival, starting with his hit television show, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has been hosting the show since 2005, and it has turned him from just another comedian into a household name. Perhaps the best way to experience the comedy of this hilarious host is to get Craig Ferguson tickets to one of his stand-up shows. His stand-up show allows him more creative freedom than his short introduction of each of his television shows. He has many dates booked throughout September and October in spots like San Francisco, Calif.; Kansas City, Mo.; Washington, D.C.; New York, N.Y. and others.
Also in October, Ferguson will take time out of his busy schedule to host the 2010 International Echo Awards Ceremony & Gala, which is part of the DMA2010 Conference & Exhibition. The awards show will take place on Oct. 12, and Ferguson will join other top names who have hosted the International Echo Awards Ceremony & Gala in the past like Jay Leno and Howie Mandel. The Echo Awards, according to the website, "honor excellence in creativity, marketing strategy, and response results in direct marketing campaigns."
Interestingly enough, Ferguson's entertainment beginnings were in music rather than comedy. He is a native of Glasgow, Scotland and performed in the U.K. as a drummer in various punk bands. After meeting the director of The Tron Theatre in Glasgow, Ferguson decided to try acting. Acting stuck, and Ferguson also discovered a proclivity for comedy. He got his feet wet in small acting gigs, and soon the television execs in the U.K. took notice. His first big break came as the subject of a BBC show, The Ferguson Theory. During this time, he also continued to hone his stage abilities.
By the mid-1990s, he was ready to bring his brand of hilarity to the United States. He had a stint on the ABC comedy Maybe This Time, which starred Betty White and Marie Osmond. The series didn't last long, but Ferguson impressed ABC enough that they cast him in The Drew Carey Show as the title character's boss. Ferguson became a U.S. citizen in 2008, a milestone he shared with the viewers of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Along with his television and comedy career, Ferguson is also a director, screenwriter and author.
