Create Soft Waves Without A Blow Dryer Or Flat Iron

Soft romantic curls and waves are very trendy these days and they can be created without using a dryer or a flat iron

. This style works best on shoulder length or longer hair. For shorter hair, a smaller barrel curling iron is the best option to achieve the very look. So the following text gives the idea on how to create these curls.

The tools used for this procedure are a curling iron, hair rollers and an adequate hair spray.

First of all, spray a heat protectant on the shaft and ends of the hair and comb it to make it tangle free. Now divide the hair in to two equal parts one at the top and other at the bottom, and secure the top part with the duck-bill hair clip. With your curling tool, curl 2-inch-wide sections of hair on the bottom half. Take care to curl it inwards in order to frame the face. Repeat the process until the entire bottom half is curled. Shelter each of these curls with seperate hair rollers while curling the top portion. Keep the curl and roll it from the tip to the root and set the roller to preserve the curls.

On the top portion, again start curling 2 inches apart in the opposite direction that is outward. Again use hair rollers, for fifteen minutes to form and preserve the curls. Cooling helps the curls to form in a good manner.

After 15 minutes remove all the hair rollers and spray the curls with the hair spray and brush it with your fingers until they form the waves. After some time, soft springy curls will be formed which give away a glorious look

Tips & Warnings

If necessary, carry hairspray with you for touch ups. You will not get a fresh look, if you attempt this style on dirty hair or hair that you have styled previously in the day.
