Creatine Helps Body-builder Compete
A Canadian body-builder has revealed that he would not be able to partake in competitions without supplements like creatine malate.
Brian Baze of Ottawa told the North Central Illinois Tribune that he needs supplements like creatine malate to help his nutrient intake during the weeks leading up to competition.
Many body-builders will try to put themselves on a diet which focuses on high protein, low-mid carbohydrates and little fat before a competition, which is designed to shed body fat but preserve muscle mass.
Baze attempts to consume 500-600 grams of protein per day to get in shape for a competition but that equates to eating about 18 burgers and he claims not to have the time to do this.
Baze claims he now has enough time to ingest the appropriate amount of protein and prepare himself for competition against other body-builders.
He told the newspaper: "Supplements are what you get from food, but just can't get enough of with regular eating."
Jeff Johnson, former body-builder and owner of the Flex Gym organisation, supported Baze's approach by stating that creatine malate supplements are effective but it is important that people do not depend on them.
"Most of them are beneficial and do work, but like anything, if you abuse it, you're going to have problems with it," Johnson told the publication.
Tri-creatine malate is a new supplement available at DesirableBody which is suitable for all strength-training individuals and has a high bioavailability rate compared to other forms of creatine supplements.
Compared to other creatine products, the new supplement provides a high instance of increased water solubility products. The typical high dosage is sensible as creatine is not usually water-soluble.
Creatine on its own is difficult for the body to absorb and transport to the muscles for available energy.
Tri-creatine malate is formulated by molecularly bonding malic acid and creatine together. Malic acid enhances energy production in order to achieve maximum muscle performance.
Tri-creatine malate is a pivotal part of the body's natural energy cycle and mixed with the high impact effects of creatine, provides a much more competent and reliable way to build muscle mass.
In 1998 international manager Glenn Hoddle claimed that he was going to be in charge of the "best prepared" England squad ever to travel to a World Cup because the players were all being given creatine tablets to improve their stamina.
