Crew Bus Comfort and Luxury Explored

A customised bus that is solely used to transport road crew and technicians for bands between shows across the country is known as a sleeper bus. Always having bunk beds, lounges, and full galley facilities, there is room for each member of the crew to relax or sleep on the way to the next city. Since the passengers comfort level is the top priority, each crew bus today will have plasma televisions with DVD players and all the latest video games.

Although they are usually the same shape and size of a regular bus, since the crew buses are specifically designed for transporting people between long distances, the interior will be customised and much nicer. It will always feature tinted windows, bedrooms with plasma televisions, bathrooms, and even kitchens. Each one is usually customised and hand-built by skilled craftsmen, with the end result being a great home on wheels.

An example of a crew bus that would be at the lower end of the price range though still considered a great luxury liner, is known as the Starbus, and consists of two lounge areas and ten bunks. The lounge to the rear has a flat screen TV and DVD player, while the lounge to the front has simply two armchairs for someone trying to get some rest and relaxation. Known as one of the top sleeper coach liners on the market, each and every amenity can be found onboard.

Next, and in the middle price range, is a sleeper that is comprised of a full kitchen and bathroom, with three lounges. Known as the Setra sleeper, the upper deck has an amazing fourteen individual bunks, each with personal reading lights and power outlets built in. The lower deck will have a lounge with two tables and six seats, with the rear of the bus making up the bathroom and kitchen.

Third on the list is a pricier and larger model known as the 12 berth, which has features that make it customisable on demand, with the ability to add two extra bunks if needed. The upper deck is comprised of lounges in both the front and back, with flat screen televisions and gaming systems, and even satellite television. The lower deck has two different tables with chairs, and the galley kitchen wraps around to a wash basin and mirror, with a door leading to the lavatory.

Finally, the one that is reserved for rock stars, with the highest price tag and a top notch level of luxury, it will be the best and most comfortable sleeper bus of all. Comprised of 12 individual bunks, two super-sized lounges, and state-of-the-art air suspension for the smoothest ride possible, the layout and design is practical yet elegant. The whole rear of the luxury liner is a U shaped extra-large lounge area with satellite TV and a full galley.

Obviously, these luxury sleeper coaches have improved by leaps and bound since years ago, and some will even cost hundreds of thousands of pounds today. With the heightened expectation of plasma televisions and the latest video games, coffee machines, Wi-FI, and comfy beds, they truly transform into a home away from home. The crew members do spend an enormous amount of time on their crew bus, and the tour cannot go on without them, so it is well worth the investment.
