As a kind of complex production equipment, the machine tool is one of the crucial equipments in the three elements during the development of human productivity. The "advancement" of those machine tools determines the productivity and labor productivity. Currently, the United States has the world's most advanced technology. First of all, it is rather urgent to develop a full range of specialist personnel and train a lot of technology backbones who own the proficient technology, know well about the objective law of development of machine tools, and understand the world technology trends of this industry.
Secondly, we should sum up 60 years' experiences of China's machine tool industry, promote the advantages and overcome the shortcomings. Besides, we should also learn the advanced development experience from the U.S., Germany, Japan and other countries and pay much attention to the practices.
Thirdly, we should pay attention to basic techniques that the machine tools require such as the electricity, liquid, and gas, etc. At the same time, it is also necessary to develop the relevant machine tools industries such as the
components, numerical control systems, tools, measurement, and machine tool accessories, etc, thereby promoting the overall development of the machine tool industry.
The future competition in the world
machine tool industry will be intensified. If China's machine tool industry wants to peak on the world advanced level, it should make good use of "talents, tools and resources". Besides, under the guidance of correct decisions from the government, it should be close to the market situation and follows the advanced technology trends.
