Cuba: A Balcony To The Caribbean Sea

The Caves Hotel stands in the city of Trinidad on a series of ancient caves

, hence its name. In central Cuba, the hotel stands out as a natural balcony facing the Caribbean and the mountains of the Massif Guamuhaya, known as The Escambray.

From the hotel, surrounded by lush vegetation, you can see the whole city and a beautiful coastal landscape dominated by the blue Caribbean Sea and the Sierra del Escambray.

This cheap hotel, located less than 400 meters from the historical center of Trinidad, has 112 comfortable rooms distributed in 60 houses and air-conditioned apartments. It has become one of the most important tourist centers of the province of Sancti Spiritus.

The boom of the hotel rank it among the most booked in the tourist resort of Trinidad, and has achieved significant indicators. Guests from France, Germany, England and Holland, among others, frequent The Caves for its attractions and ensure that they are truly satisfied by the careful attention and charm of the staff.

Bikerian, from London, UK, stayed with friends at The Caves in February 2012. We stayed in three different cabin based hotels like this in Cuba and this was the best the rooms were spacious and clean and the views fantastic. The staff was good and the buffet was certainly the best of all the five different hotels I tried (including 2 in Havana). Its about 3/4 mile up the hill from Trinidad and visiting that town is a must on any Cuba tour. We stayed there two nights and I had no complaints.

According Yonailin Rios Gonzalez, director of the resort, the staff is becoming more and more immersed in increasing the level of satisfaction perceived by the clients. She said they have increased the comfort of the rooms for those who prefer this tourist destination for their Cuba holidays, and that is ideal for relaxation.

We also have worked on improving the buffet service, where the menu is checked systematically. The decoration of the plates and areas too, all of which is reversed in higher quality, Rios Gonzalez said.

In the midst of nature, the hotel has various facilities for guests such as rental cars, horses, entertainment, shop, travel desk, safe, currency exchange, tennis court, disco, parking, laundry, massage, swimming pool, restaurant service, email and fax, medical services and taxis.
