Curcumin In Turmeric Found To Protect Against Dementia And Prostate Cancer

Curcumin, the active ingredient of the Indian spice turmeric used in curry dishes

, has been shown to offer protection against dementia and prostate cancer. The study published in the Cancer Research journal, showed evidences that the anti-inflammatory curcumin inhibits tumor growth in men with prostate cancer by blocking receptors that proliferates cell tissue growth.
