"See, I knew I wouldn't be good at dropping weight" or "Exercising simply doesn't do the job for me" or "I tried but I suppose I'm always going to have this large stomach." WELL, OF COURSE YOU ARE, talking to yourself like THAT!
Those statements are just confirming the bad thoughts your mind has already laid out for you. The human flaw comes in as the validation of "being right" even though it's in the wrong situation. By doing what you think you "should" do and not being successful at it just like you "knew" would happen, your mind confirms the bad notion you had all along and you recognize it as the truth.
But try out these reducing weight ideas.
As you're sitting down to enjoy a healthy meal you have made, think to yourself, "I KNEW I could do this! I knew I could rely on myself to make healthier food choices so that I can do better at decreasing my weight. I knew I would delight in each and every bite of this because I know it's good for me and I realize my body will GREATLY benefit from this tasty meal."
Use this tip at EVERY meal, even when you're not completely confident yet. After your unconscious mind hears it enough, it will start to believe and it will wish to assist you regularly make the appropriate decisions to keep confirming the idea that you CAN do it as opposed to the negative one, stating you can't.
And on the flip side of this, when you're considering pigging out on a very unhealthy meal, say to yourself, "I know this is very bad for me and this meal will not benefit my body as much as a more healthy choice would. I understand that if I cheat, I will not feel good about eating the junk food. If I choose to eat unhealthy foods, I am not confirming my belief that I CAN minimize my weight and eat better." In no time your mind will be so turned off by fast foods that you won't even desire them!
These are a few of the very best reducing weight ideas I can give you because they truly help you control yourself so you don't even want to cheat. Actually, you feel so great about what you're eating, you don't even consider cheating because it's so counterproductive.

When I make myself a very healthy meal, I think to myself how great it looks, how superb it's going to taste, and how pleased with myself I am for making that meal rather than picking something unhealthier because it was easier. I really do appreciate every bite because I KNOW each bite is good for my body.
And IF or when I even consider getting something unhealthy to eat, I think to myself what a wrong option it would be because it does not adhere to my beliefs. I actually feel guilty (and deterred) for going against myself like that because I feel so strongly about making sensible food choices. I understand that snack will not give me proper nutrition to help me in lowering my weight- it will just increase the fat I don't even want! And that's enough to make that food so unappetizing to me that I don't even desire it any longer.
Bottom line is, I've been repeating those beliefs in my thoughts for the past year (at least) and I would state that after a couple of months, they became a part of me. Once I integrated these cutting weight tips into my mind and my belief system, I was able to make better food choices more naturally and minimize my weight down to a weight I am VERY pleased with.
