Dancing comes naturally only to a few of us. This small percentage, however, runs into thousands and we have a big group of people out there who are fond of shaking the leg most of the time. They are the die-hard dancers who would not be able to do anything better. The moment they hear music their feet start tapping subconsciously and the gyrating starts. Fast music gets instant reactions from most of these people. For the majority of the remainder dancing is just something that they can only dream about. Any attempt to actually dance would normally end in a disaster, most preferably in the confines of their homes to save themselves from ridicule. For people who can really dance, the opportunities abound.

With the new reality shows on TV devoting a lot of prime time to dance programs that actually end up as competitions. The budding dancers have openings that they could never have dreamed of earlier. These competitions however, were stiff with a panel of hawk-eyed Judges watching every move of the dancers coming from across the country and overseas as well. The hard work put in by every dancer who participated was evident and the hungry look in their eyes promised the best of dancing yet to be seen. A window to show case their talents and ultimately dance their way to riches had opened and only the best of the best would dance away with the coveted prize. The hard work and grinding hours of practice they put in would ultimately pay off to the best dancer among them.

One such show that has been very popular and has edged up to the prime-time slot is the show Americas Best Dance Crew that has attracted incredibly amazing talent from across the country. Season 6 had the previous champions returning to give it another shot and the competition was really getting stiffer with teams determined to outdo each other. There were a total of 10 Crews and each one had worked hard and practiced like maniacs. The Eclectic Gentlemen chose Firemen and gave a fiery performance. However, they were the first to be eliminated. The crew from Jagged was next and their fleet-footed performance to the beats of Sleazy could not be undermined, however they got eliminated too. Next in tow was the crew from Chicago calling themselves FootworKINGz had to be eliminated from the season.

ReQuest Dance Crew who came all the way from Auckland, New Zealand put up a good fight and had to be content with being in the bottom two. The next crew that was disappointed with being eliminated was the 787 Crew from San Juan as the Judges were convinced that they needed to be eliminated. The fate of Instant Noodles was no better and they had to ease themselves out of the stage on being eliminated. The saving grace was the Crew Street Kingdom from LA who managed to hit bottom 2 twice during the season, however they too had to concede defeat. The Phunk Phenomenon were indeed a phenomenon however after hitting bottom 2 twice they had to reluctantly exit as directed by the Judges.

With the competition heating up it was the turn of the ICONic Boyz who put up a tough fight and had to contend with the second place and ended up as runner-ups. The ultimate crowning glory was well deserved by the Crew that christened itself IaM mE and danced away with the laurels and the prize money as well. This exciting and enjoyable show was aired by popular service providers like Verizon FiOS TV and was a treat by itself.
