Dane Cook is one of the most popular, if not the most popular standup comedian working today. His energetic physical comedy, clever wordplay, and hilarious observations about human behavior have endeared him to audiences of all ages.

After honing his craft in darkened comedy clubs all over the country, Cook caught his first break when he appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend in 1998, and quickly became a known name in the industry. He released his first comedy album in 2003, which was a success in its own right, but it was the 2005 release of Retaliation that cemented Cook's status as one of the best comedians of his time. Retaliation debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, making him the highest charting comedian in 27 years. The album went on to hit double platinum status.

A highly sought-after talk-show guest, Cook has appeared multiple times on Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Tonight Show. He also hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live in 2006, helping the program earn the highest non-sports rating of any network that year.

Cook has also appeared in such films as Mystery Men, Employee of the Month, Good Luck Chuck, Dan in Real Life, Mr. Brooks, and My Best Friend's Girl.
