Danny Boyle is going to be making a movie about the real life incident that took place in Aron Ralston's life in the year 2003.
Aron Ralston is the Real Hero
Aron Ralston, is the main character and the inspiration for the story, became stuck in Blue John Canyon for 127 hours when his hand got caught in between a boulder and a huge rock face, after which he could not get himself free. After waiting for a few days Aron decided to cut off his arm for his own survival with his pocket knife.
A Brutal Sequence
After Aron cut his arm off he managed to rappel down a rock, and walk for about five miles before he found any people that could help him. After all this, Aron was able to walk in to the emergency room by himself when he got to the hospital. Aron Ralston had been in surgery for cutting off his arm for several hours and he was in a critical condition at the time.
