So, you have a date with a woman that you really want to impress

. You don't want to blow it, you want to make sure that she ends up thinking of you as being the kind of guy that she wants to spend her nights and weekends with. You have everything all set up, and then, you realize that you don't know how to dress to impress a woman. And now, you are worried that you might end up blowing it by making the WRONG impression.

Here are some dating tips for women on how to dress to impress a woman on a date:

1. Match the venue.

If you are taking her out someplace casual, then make sure that you are not all decked out in a 3 piece suit. You need to dress for the occasion, and you don't want to end up being dressed up too much or too little. Match the venue and you should come off looking okay in her eyes.

2. Get the shoes right.

It's funny. Quite often, I will get a new pair of shoes that kind of blend in with whatever I am wearing, and the only ones that will notice them are women. The stereotype on this one is usually dead on, women do pay attention to a man's shoes. Don't ask me why this is, but they usually do. So, go out and pick up a new pair if your old ones are worn out or out of date.

3. Don't opt for boring.

A lot of guys dress pretty much the same as any other guy does. Well, if you want to make an impression on a woman, you are going to want to stand out just a little bit. Add a little color when appropriate and make sure that you don't look too traditional. A boring outfit projects a boring image and will put the thought in her mind that you might not be a whole lot of fun on a date.

4. Don't worry about it too much.

Nowadays, some guys are more into their appearance than the woman is. Seriously though, as long as you don't look like a bum or a geek, you should be fine. There is such a thing as worrying about making the best impression you can a little too much. Make yourself more attractive to her by coming across like it's not that big a deal what you look like.
