Being a shy guy can really make dating seem kind of tough. Even tougher than it is for a lot of other men. When you are the shy guy, it's hard just to get a little bit of attention from a woman. That can make the whole dating thing seem kind of intimidating and even make you want to just give up searching for the right woman altogether. Of course, if you do give up on trying to meet women, then you are just punishing yourself, and why would you want to do that to yourself?

The first major obstacle that you are going to have to get by if you are a shy guy is just in getting women to pay attention to you. If you can do that, then you can move through all of the other steps and techniques that you can use to build her attraction and make her want to be with you. So, how do you get attention?

You have to COMMAND ATTENTION by the way that you hold yourself (body language), the way that you dress (visual attraction), and the fact that you can be sociable in social settings. With your body language, you need to be able to show a woman that you are comfortable, confident, and have that fun vibe that women seem to dig a lot in a guy.

The way that you dress is simply to attract a woman's attention visually. You need to present yourself in a way that stands out from the crowd. Guus have a habit of dressing like their buddies and just like all of the other men that might be in a bar or a club and if you are a shy guy, this is not going to help you stand out in any way. Of course, you want to be able to get attention, so you need to dress in a way that gets you that attention.

Being sociable is probably the hardest obstacle that a shy guy has to overcome, but why would a woman want to spend time getting to know you if you don't come across as being outgoing and inviting to talk to? Show her that you can do this, and she just might get intrigued by you and want to come over and find out more about you.
