Day Excursion To Valley Of Kings, Karnak And Luxor Temples By Plane From Dahab

Pick you up from your hotel in Dahab and transfer to Sharm El Sheikh airport to maximize

your sightseeing in Luxor with a one hour flight to Luxor and spend your valuable vacation time visiting the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and of course the impressive Karnak Temple. Valley of the Kings The king's formal names and titles are inscribed in his tomb along with his images and statues. Beginning with the 18th Dynasty and ending with the 20th, the kings abandoned the Memphis area and built their tombs in Thebes. Also abandoned were the pyramid style tombs. Most of the tombs were cut into the limestone following a similar pattern: three corridors, an antechamber and a sunken sarcophagus chamber. Hatshepsut Temple A tree lined avenue of sphinxes led up to the temple, and ramps led from terrace to terrace. The porticoes on the lowest terrace are out of proportion and coloring with the rest of the building. They were restored in 1906 to protect the celebrated reliefs depicting the transport of obelisks to Karnak and the birth of Queen Hatshepsut. Reliefs on the south side of the middle terrace show the queen's expedition by way of the Red Sea to Punt, the land of incense. Karnak Temple Although badly ruined, no site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man, and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples located about 3 kilometers north of Luxor on 100ha (247 acres) of land. Luxor Temple The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Rameses II, the temple's purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office, by the end of the sightseeing day you will be escorted back to Luxor airport, fly to Sharm El sheikh then transfer back to Dahab.

- Extra charges for food ordered a la carte or from room service. These charges must be paid directly to the hotel or restaurant.

If you have a problem with any of the Tour Services provided it should be brought to the immediate attention of our representative or the company directly whilst on the Tour. We will then attempt to rectify the situation immediately. Upon return it is almost impossible to correct a situation that could have been corrected during the Tour. Please note that if you choose for any reason not to participate in any part of the program once on the tour, there will be NO refund for these services, as they are prepaid based on the number participating.

Changes:

Payment Policy:

Over land tours: No down payment is required as it can be done the day you start your confirmed day trip or the travel package, you can pay using any of the following methods (credit cards, travel checks, cash in your desired currency with updated exchange rate)

Shore excursions: No down payment is required, payment can be done upon your arrival and you can pay using any of the following methods (credit cards, travel checks, cash in your desired currency with updated exchange rate)

Flight excursions: Full payment is required at least 4 days before your requested trip with travel checks or in cash with your preferred currency.

Travel packages: 50 % of the total amount are required one complete week before the tour package starting day using any of the above mentioned methods of payment.

Cancelation policy:

- Same day of the tour: No refund.

- One day before: all money are fully refundable if you would cancel your booking even one day before as long as you will contact us within 24 hours before your booking date except for the travel packages that requests hotel booking or flight ticket, the same for the one day excursion by flight (in this case you will charged with 25% of your total cost for the cancelation 4 days before & 50 % of the total if cancelation would happen in less than 4 days prior your booking date).
