Days of free software (Software Freedom Day - SFD) is one of the biggest festival
in the open source community, the world cheered the movement of free and open source software (FOSS).
This is an annual event and is held on the third Saturday of September every year. The event aims to promote the benefits, usability as well as the features of the free software to users. SFD also an opportunity for those who love technology, love FOSS met and exchanged discuss your favorite FOSS issues.
This year, the SFD will be held simultaneously with the FOSS @ HUS 2012 (free and open source software Conference 2012 of the Hanoi University of Natural Sciences). Club programs, free and open source software Vietnam (VFOSSA), Vietnam Association for Information Processing, in conjunction with the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the organization will be held at the University of Science Natural Sciences on 15/9/2012.
FOSS @ HUS is an Annual Conference was launched in 2006 to community HanoiLUG and the members of the Hanoi University of Natural Sciences organized introduction and propagation of free and open source software (FOSS). Career workshops helped students love and passion for information technology research. The workshop is also an opportunity to introduce FOSS can be used in learning, work and research by students and staff.
This is the first time FOSS @ HUS was held on the day the SFD. This year, along with nearly 300 teams around the world, organizers SFD 2012 in Hanoi will give information on the use of FOSS in schools agencies (their application in teaching, scientific research) vocational students, students in the study, information on the process of implementing FOSS in the body, now, look, notice the big FOSS events at home and abroad.
