We stayed at Days Inn Ames, Iowa on our waty to Mall of America, it was late and we had no reservation. The service was excellent, the room was the cleanest I think we have ever stayed in, continental breakfast in the morning was perfect and the price was very reasonable. We will certainly stay there again if we are ever through again.

We experienced car problems while traveling through Ames. The staff at Days Inn allowed us to stay in the lobby while we checked out our vehicle and tried to locate a mechanic. They offered us coffee while we waited and were friendly and hospitable. The lobby restroom was pleasant and clean!

Since it was a holiday, no one could look at our van until the next day. We ended up booking a room. It was clean and met our expectations. The price was reasonable for a walk-up rate.

The next morning, the auto shop worked on our vehicle past the 12:00 noon check-out time. Once again, the friendly, hospitable staff did not rush us out but allowed us to remain until our car was fixed.
