In our life so many instances come when we feel lost and dejected

. At that time we feel helpless and in no position to take things normal as we usually do. Sometimes, even a small event can trigger a major depression, stress or anxiety. What actually seems is not anxiety, stress or depression; it is actually the sequence of behaviors that direct to a mental trauma. It has been observed that one event is not just enough to shoot the stress or depression level. There are so many different chain reactions that are actually taking place before a person becomes highly stressed, or depressed.

As a human being, grief is our natural reaction to any drastic event. Life is as said not a bed of roses. It sometimes really gives us a tough time. Problems in ones life are uncountable. We may face events from losing a job to death of a friend or parent or any other close ones.

It is something natural that for events we cant express our grief, those events begins to fester inside us and eventually ends up as severe depression. Often it happens that you dont have anyone to express your feelings to, rather your friends or family feel embarrassed by your grief. Still, there are ways to deal with your loss.

Ways to Deal with Your Loss


Follow these points to deal with your loss event efficiently:

-An important body function to deal with strong emotions is crying. If you feel the need of crying go ahead, this will lessen the intensity of loss somehow. Emotions are natural instinct of man so never hesitate to express them.

-Being honest towards your feeling is important to cope with loss. Never say you are fine, when you are not. Tell your friends or family about your true feelings. It is not important to tell them the entire story you can just share your feelings and that is it.

-The best way is to talk to your close friend who is willing to listen to your problem. If no one is there for your help, you can take help from bereavement counselor.

-Coming out of ones grief is not an easy task. It takes it time and it is better for you not to hustle out of your grief. Take your time to come back to your normal life. Well, it is always better to come out of those feelings quickly not only for you but for your close friends also. Studies say that it almost takes two years to come out of the grief of partners death.

-Taking shelter under the alcohol or recreational drugs may seem helpful in short term, but it will worsen your feelings in long term. So avoid consuming them when you are sad.

-Dont try to cover up your grief by behaving normal. It is not all important. If you want to cancel your meetings or any other commitments you can postpone them. Take a leave from work and visit some calm place.

-Never suppress your happiness in any case. Enjoy the happy moments of life as they never come back.
