. It also allows you to know when it may be time to give up. Dealing with an ex girlfriend certainly takes a lot of wisdom, the kind that most guys honestly do not have. You are going to have to be able to determine when it is time to approach your ex girlfriend and also when it is not the right time. Timing can end up being the one single greatest factor in determining whether or not you do end up back with her.

For most guys, they will get the timing all wrong. They will try to win her back when she is not ready and that will prove to be the main reason why it does not happen. It can be done, but you are going to have to get the timing right.

Here are some hints that it might be time to give up (at least for now):

1) She is accusing you of harassing her.

This might sound a little bit outlandish, but it happens quite a bit. The guy thinks that he is just showing her a little attention, the woman considers it to be harassment. One thing that is a guarantee is that if she feels like you are harassing her, you are not going to win her back, so you might as well back off for a while.

2) She is dating someone else and it seems serious.

The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes the reality is that what it wants is just not available. If she is in a rebound relationship, then it's not a big deal that she is dating someone else. On the other hand, if she is serious about the guy she is seeing, then it is not the right time to try and get her back.

3) You are becoming obsessed with the idea of getting her back.

Thinking about her a lot is one thing. Becoming obsessed with her is another. Obsession is unhealthy and to be honest, it is also a really unattractive quality. If you are on the brink of becoming obsessed with your ex girlfriend or you have already crossed that line, then you need to stop thinking about her and find a way to get on with your life. Being obsessed with getting back your ex girlfriend is NOT a good sign.
