A divorce or breakup is hurting because it represents the loss, not just of the relationship, but also of shared dreams and commitments. Romantic relationships begin on a high note of exhilaration and hope for the future. When these relationships fall short, we experience intense frustration, anxiety, and misery.

A breakup or divorce launches us into unfamiliar terrain. Everything is disrupted: your routine and tasks, your home, your relationships with complete family and friends, and even your individuality. A breakup brings insecurity about the future. What will life be like without your partner? Will you find someone else? Will you end up alone? These unknowns often seem worse than an unhappy relationship.

Take care of yourself more ever than before because you dealing with the major change and challenge of your life which can disturb your psychological and physical health. Take plenty of rest and try to minimize the other sources of stress in your life.

Learn from your experience and try to make positive choices for the coming up life. Its essential to find healthier ways to cope with painful feelings rather than the negative ones like alcohol or drugs.
