Deciphering Shakespeare's Keywords For Seo

If the famous wordsmith William Shakespeare were living today

, what would be his relevant keywords?

I had some thinking the other day about how the advent of technology has greatly changed the writing landscape. Gone are the days of just writing for the sheer pleasure of creating something. All you needed was a pen and a paper, or a typewriter, and some precious time away from everything else.

But now, as Google has dominated every inch of the internet world, truth be told, that we are somehow subject to its dictates and commands. Google has spawned the phenomenon that is search engine optimization or SEO and it is a well-oiled machinery that involves keywords.

Keywords are words that makeup a sentence that if repeated often enough in one article, can truly increase the chances of your article being found by the search engines like Google. Everybody wants to be found in the SEO world.

Which goes back to my question:

If the well known playwright William Shakespeare was alive, what would his relevant keywords for SEO be?

Let's take a look at some of Romeo and Juliet's famous quotes:

For stony limits cannot hold love out,

And what love can do that dares love attempt.

Love goes toward love, as schoolboys from their books,

But love from love, toward school with heavy looks.

Love.

Shakespeare's keyword is LOVE!

But, try this:

What do you get if you get if you type "love" in your favorite search engine? A lot of love! So much love that it can't be held back! So, what happens to Shakespeare's keywords? Like most of his characters - "loves" lost.

Unfortunately for Shakespeare, the Internet is just overflowing with a lot of "love" keywords. Shakespeare's love would be in tough competition!

There's more to love, really.
