You can even expand its reach, and are in fact encouraged to do so since a profitable business can help this country. As long as you employ ten or more people full-time and have the new company under control, you should be able to stay in this country for as long as you would like.

If you are not sure if your plan will work, you should talk to a lawyer well-versed in both immigration and investment. Everything will need to be approved officially, but you should be able to succeed with the EB-5 visa program if you think your investment through. As long as your plan will help this country's economy and its citizens, you will likely be approved.
