So with spring right around the corner are you like me and in real need of a way to declutter your house? Over the past 6 months I have had 3 of my adult children move in and/or out due to the economy. And what is left behind is a completely cluttered up mess. I had no idea of where to start until I found this ebook on the topic.

It was plain as day staring me in the face I needed a plan of attack and that plan needed to start with a list first on the list was the reason why I needed to declutter my house. This part of the list actually grew immensely when I really thought about it. I added factors into it like my pets, my grand kids and more than anything my time. I figured out that the time it took me to move stuff around to clean could easily be subtracted if I would just get to it and declutter my life starting with my house.

So I sat down and came up with a list of stuff we needed and stuff we didn't. I could not believe the stuff that was buried on shelves when we started moving stuff around just in the garage. I found 3 moving boxes of VHS movies alone now what would I need those I don't even have a VCR anymore haven't for years.

So back to the subject what to do with the stuff you really don't need well there are several things you can do with it you can garage sale sell it on the Internet maybe a local charity could take some if not all. For example I gave all the VHS movies to a local hospital. What about a boys and girls club or a woman's shelter it is up to you what you do with it but get rid of it this is the first step to decluttering.

Now that all of that is gone sit down and redo your list and categorize the different seasons and organizer accordingly. The e book goes into a lot more detail this is what I found to be the most helpful keep the list and dont go back to a cluttered life you would ot believe how something as simple as decluttering your life can change your life. It helps you in your job your free time your family time and most of all you fell a 100% better about your home
